Aim: to BOOST the European church’s profile and impact their local community

Where: Slovakia

When: European summer holidays (August 2010)

What: A touring outreach event which has entertainment, pumping music, face painting, games, relevant teaching and loads of fun!

Churches desire to impact their local community, but all too often lack the resource to do this. BOOST Tour will work alongside Kid’s Ministries that NLI are currently training and establishing. Thus, BOOST Tour is not a ‘one hit wonder’, but will be the catalyst for many churches making serious inroads into the community.

Different work groups will be required to ensure BOOST Tour 10 is a success. Teams will be established to fulfil different roles. Each team will have a team leader, who will report to the site manager.

• Stage Show and Gospel Presentation: this involves both the technical team and the 'on stage' team, also including those with special talents e.g. juggling, dance, music and drama.
• Carnival Team: Activities for this team will include things such as playing football, parachute games, earth ball games, managing large inflatables or jumping castles, face paiting etc.
• Logisitics Team: this team will be responsible for things like the set up and pack down of each site, operating the sound and light systems, video and other multi-media. The coordination of site teams and the overnight security of the equipment and site (in conjunction with the locals) will be part of this team's responsibility.
