The fourth and final Organix Emerging Leaders Conference took place in El Espinar, Spain from 4-9 December. Over 100 young and emerging leaders, pastors and church planters celebrated the conclusion of the four module process. The theme of this year's Organxi was: Changing the Environment.

It was focused on missional and prophetic leadership and it was challenging and inspiring to say the least. The workshops were focused around understanding personal mission, evangelism as declaration, prophetic imagination and developing the next generation of leaders. The Mini_Labs (our interactive sessions) pushed people to think and act in missional ways including a session whereby groups of delegates went out into the town of El Espinar in order to make a practical difference in 40 minutes or less. Many returned with stories of sharing their faith, praying for people and doing acts of kindness.

The conference culminated with an amazing session by four-time Organix Speaker, Dave Harvey, who shared that we are people of the resurrection, living in the new week of God's creation. After this incredibly inspiring session, each and every delegate was prayed for and commissioned by the leadership. This call and commissioning was more than just a token gesture, we were asked by our national partners to put out a call for delegates to leave their environments and partner with the 5 new church plants that have or will be starting in 2010. This was a radical call to living missionally and by faith for these young leaders.

Even though Organix is now finished it has given birth to three new initiatives that are or will be starting in Spain. The first is the Boost Kid's Leadership Training; the second is the church planting process that will be launching in February 2010; and the final one is the Emerge Women's Leadership Conferences that will also be launching in the near future. While many were sad to see Organix end, we know that there are greater things in store for the nation of Spain. This event was a catalyst for a whole new generation of leaders to be empowered to equip, transform and expand the church in Spain and beyond.
