I didn’t realize it at the time but it was destiny. In the fall of 1999, just before the new millennium began, I attended Euro Summit, a Next Level International [NLI] leadership conference in Central Europe. Through a prophetic word, God called me to “come out of the shadows.” No one had to tell me what that meant. I knew.

I was working hard on the front lines of local church ministry as a senior pastor’s wife and women’s ministries director. However, I had made many excuses and allowed intimidation and fear into my life. I was guilty of comparing myself to others and always coming up short in my own eyes. God said, no more! That night He offered me the grace and the courage to walk boldly in the spiritual gifts and calling on my life. He invited me into His preferred future. I said yes and my journey into this present future has been nothing short of remarkable.

It is my conviction that my story is simply a prophetic picture of God’s invitation to women, His precious daughters. They live, work and minister among an amazing generation of emerging and advanced church and marketplace leaders. In some measure deposited in each one, is all the potential necessary to impact nations, homes, schools and workplaces for Christ. Many don’t see themselves that way. I did not either. But God does. People everywhere within their sphere of influence, need them to be all He created them to be.

Prophetic words are never guarantees of anything, but they are divine invitations that are ignited and released by willingness and obedience. I said yes and I’m praying others will too.
