I'm passionate about engaging people in mission, especially in prayer support for the courageous men and women who are planting churches all across Europe. Each year NLI mobilises several prayer teams into Europe. We get some incredible feedback from these missions, but it's especially great when we hear from the church planters about the impact of thse teams.
Emerge exists to call women out of the shadows into their God-given destiny and purpose. It also exists to equip and train women who are developing or refining their leadership skills.
"I do not remember that any church program would collect more faithless people than simply painting of a bus stop." These are the words of a young church planting couple in Crimea who recently hosted a short-term mission team from Canada.
An alarm went off before 5 a.m. today alerting my husband and I that his 90 year old father who is a Hospice patient in our home was on the move. We sprang [well sort of] into action to see what he needed. The details that followed are unimportant but it got my thoughts going.
