Never the same again!

“Before we went to Romania, I couldn’t see how planting churches could be the answer to a situation of social deprivation. Now I see that the church of Jesus Christ is the ONLY answer. In places of such spiritual darkness and desperate need, only the Body of Christ, living sacrificial lives, loving and serving together, being Jesus to the people, showing that there IS another way, is the only way for the poor to be lifted from the dung heap and set among princes. Jesus is the Way and the church is His body.

New Leadership Development Leader

Linda Howell has recently been named as the new Team Leader for NLI Leadership Development. She begins her new responsibilities June 1. She follows Steve Melnichuk who has brought leadership to the LD team for the past five years. Steve is transitioning from NLI into a new role with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada.

Ukraine Revisited

In April 2008 a team from New Life Church, Scunthorpe (UK) returned to Staromihalovka for the seventh, yes seventh time! Proof that going on short-term mission is more than just a one-off, something to put on your Résumé! The churches were originally partnered together in 2003 when NLI began its first church planting project in Ukraine.
